Dr Khamsum Kinley currently works as a Learning and Teaching Consultant (Design)  within the Learning and Teaching team, Griffith Business School at the Griffith University. Kinley obtained his PhD and Master of Information Technology from the Information Systems School at QUT and a Bachelor of Education Secondary (Physics, Maths) from the Royal University of Bhutan.

Kinley has over 15 years’ experience in teaching, training, development and research in the areas of information and communication technologies, digital tools and educational technologies, both in Australia and overseas. He previously worked as an ICT Literacy Specialist within the Library and Learning Services at Griffith University from April 2014 to April 2016, where he, along with a colleague, earned 2015 LLS Award for Application of an innovative idea or concept by a team for their project on ‘iPad instance feedback’.  Kinley also held various role at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) between 2009 and 2014 and at the Royal University of Bhutan from April 2006 to February 2009.

In addition to day-to-day professional work, Kinley also collaborates with other academics across the globe on research projects and scholarly papers. He is also an active Program Committee (PC), and invited paper reviewer and contributor.  Since 2009, Kinley has published over 15 journal and conference papers. He is an active member of a number of professional associations such as Australia Computer Society.
