We are glad that we, the Bhutan Queensland Community in Brisbane, could contribute in our small way to charities in Bhutan.
On 24th November 2011, Kinley handed over a sum of Nu. 29,557 to Disabled Persons’ Association of Bhutan (http://www.dpab.org.bt/) on behalf of the community. The fund was raised during the Royal Couple Wedding celebration in Brisbane in October, and partly contributed by friends and their families in Brisbane. We are hopeful that our small contribution will make a difference.
